The “Stages” project conceives an environment where old people and infants meet on common ground. So long as each individual in society can communicate with others who belong to apart generation, experience and knowledge flow among them. This is a learning method beyond traditional school. This project proposes a recapitulated education neighborhood containing both indoor and outdoor spaces. Information flow and intersection points of communication networks are reflected as physical connotations. While education hubs are erected on strategic intersection points of data flow, each hub is linked through connection paths. Mycelium panels envelop the structures. The whole system is a small-scale realization of the harmony between the “men-nature-artificial world”. Among trees,artificial farmlands and high-tech equipments, pupils are invited to experience each stage of life in different circular unit.
